Academic Background

Wendeen is a graduate of New York University College of Arts and Sciences (University Heights Campus),1967, with honors. Her strongest suit was argumentation and debate. She was a recipient of NYU's Chester H. Lane prize in public speaking.  Wendeen graduated with a double major in philosophy and psychology. Her graduate studies in personnel management resulted in a double certification in New York State; as a certified employment consultant and certified professional coach. She has been a long-time supporter of NYU and served as a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of NYU Law School for two years.
